Meraner High Altitude Trail
The guest bus will take you to Partschins. From there a shuttle bus will take you to the Partschins waterfalls for a small fee, the waterfall is one of the most impressive in the Alpine region. From the waterfall follow trail number 8 to Nassereith. The Merano High Altitude trail number 24 takes you to Grub via Gigglberg, Hochforch and Pirc. Trail number 8 takes you back to Naturno. Hiking is fun for both young and old guests alike.
Hiking Along the 'Waalwege'
Waale are narrow irrigation canals and were built by the farmers of South Tyrol 250 years ago to water their fields. The 'Waalwege' trails follow these artificial streams that crisscross the Vinschgau Valley. An example for a 'Waal' trail: take your car to Töll and from here take the Plarser Waalweg trail and the Ochsentodweg trail to Schloss Tirol Castle. Enjoy a lunch break at this picturesque spot, the Dolce Vita team will gladly provide delicious food for a picnic. Enjoy the view of Merano before walking back.
